As part of the Johannesburg enforcement operation at China Mall, the NRCS engaged with leading media platforms, including SABC News, The Star, Business Day and TimesLIVE.
NRCS General Manager, Mr Duncan Mutengwe, participated in media interviews where he explained the regulator’s mandate, the purpose of the operation, and the reasons behind the coordinated raid.
The interviews provided an opportunity to highlight the importance of regulatory compliance, consumer protection, and the removal of non-compliant goods from the market.
